Chapter 21
Interviewing is one of the most important details when making a documentary. Interviews can let you get to know a character, or someone could be source to valid information. When shooting an interview, you don't always just want to film them as a "talking head" you should get them doing something, like walking around doing there job, getting ready for something, anything to keep the eye focused. Also it said to practice the interview. Think of what you're going to ask and try not to get into dumb conversation. And another thing to keep in mind is to ask your question to them first then record there answer.
